Alvarum Challenges Terms and Conditions of Use

Article 1- Alvarum Challenge

An Alvarum Challenge is a fundraising challenge offered on the occasion of a partner event by Alvarum SAS , a Corporation governed by the laws of France, registered under RCS Number Paris 499 694 024 with registered office at 19 rue Martel 75010 Paris France.

The participant in an Alvarum Challenge commits to raising a certain amount of donations for a participating charity and to flying the charity’s flag while taking part in the event. The amount of funds to be raised is determined ahead.

  • Support in fundraising
  • Advice and assistance to get ready for the event
  • Meeting with the team of the selected charity
  • Registration for the event for no additional charge as soon as the registration for the Challenge is confirmed

Article 2- Registration conditions

The registration in an Alvarum Challenge takes place in three steps:

  • The participant chooses a charity among the charities participating in the Challenge.
  • The participant fills a form online, accepts the hereby general terms and conditions as well as the terms and conditions which are specific to the Challenge he is participating in and pays a reservation fee to Alvarum for his participation in the Challenge.
  • The participant confirms his registration for the Challenge by reaching the fundraising goal by the mentioned deadline date.

Article 3 – Fundraising

Each participant in the Challenge has to create an online fundraising page on the Alvarum platform.

For each challenge, the following pieces of information are provided to the participant as he registers. (in the “détail de l’évènement” of the registration form)

Amount of the intermediary fundraising goal

The participant must have raised this amount of online donations on the fundraising page he created on the Alvarum platform in the frame of his participation.

Deadline for reaching the intermediary fundraising goal

The intermediary fundraising goal must be reached on the mentioned deadline date, before midnight GMT+1.

Amount of the final fundraising goal

The participant must have raised this amount of online donations on the fundraising page he created on the Alvarum platform in the frame of his participation.

Deadline for reaching the final fundraising goal

The intermediary fundraising goal must be reached on the mentioned deadline date, before midnight GMT+1.

Article 4-  Renouncement of the Challenge

The participant is free to renounce to his participation in the Challenge at any time. He will then have to let the Alvarum teams know by email.

If the participant does not reach one of his fundraising goals (intermediary or final), his renouncement will be recorded by Alvarum and the participant will not have the right to take part in the event.

In case of renouncement by the participant or in case of failure to reach the fundraising goal, the reservation fee paid to Alvarum will not be refundable. Donations that may have been made on the Alvarum fundraising page will be transferred to the charity, in accordance with the general terms and conditions of the Alvarum platform.

Article 5 –Participation in the event

Once his participation in the Challenge has been confirmed, the participant receives the necessary information to register online for no additional charge for the event on the occasion of which the Challenge is organised.

By registering online for the event, the participant accepts the regulations of the event. The regulations of the Alvarum Challenges can be found here:
